- Earl L. Campbell Jr., 42, of Harrisburg, was charged with flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a report of drug activity in the 200 block of North College Street at 10:36 p.m. Feb. 10. Police said two men were observed leaving the residence upon their arrival, and one of them was identified as Campbell, who had an active warrant out for his arrest out of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. When police advised him that a warrant existed, Campbell fled on foot, police said. He was pursued for about two blocks until he was captured by police. Campbell had marijuana and drug paraphernalia on him when taken into custody, police said.
- Police are looking for a white man and woman who stole about $1,100 worth of vacuum cleaners from Walmart at 11:20 p.m. Feb. 3. Police said the two selected the vacuum cleaners and pushed the shopping cart out of the store without paying for them. The couple got into a white station wagon believed to possibly be a Subaru, and left the area.
