Carlisle Police are looking for a truck involved in a pursuit early Saturday morning.

Police said officers attempted to stop the truck for a traffic violation in the first block of North Spring Garden Street in Carlisle at 2:52 a.m. March 30.

The driver fled from police going south onto South Spring Garden Street into South Middleton Township. The driver hit a mailbox in the 500 block of South Spring Garden Street before police said they stopped the pursuit.

Police said the truck is believed to be an older model, gray or silver, single cab Ford with dark tinted windows and unknown stickers on the back window.

The truck may have damage to the front bumper on the passenger side from hitting the mailbox, and the tailgate fell off the truck during the pursuit.

The truck had been seen in the 300 block of North Pitt Street and the first block of West Penn Street right before the pursuit.
