State Police at Carlisle are looking for information after corralling a loose horse that had been spotted on North Newton Township roads. 

Someone called police about 2 a.m. Tuesday to report a horse on local roads, police said. Troopers found the horse on Fish and Game Road and Steeltown Road in North Newton Township and secured the horse. 

The horse is a brown/chestnut quarter horse, possibly thoroughbred, and has a white marking on its forehead and white hind hooves, police said.
