State Police at Carlisle are looking for a man they say may have been involved in four robberies this week in Cumberland County.

Police said the latest robbery occurred at Super Mart in the 2000 block of West Trindle Road in South Middleton Township at 12:30 p.m. Monday. Police said a white man in his 40s arrived at the scene in a silver four-door SUV, possibly a Hyundai Tucson, 2010-2015 model, or a similar vehicle.

Police said the man waited several minutes in his vehicle in the parking lot, potentially waiting for patrons to leave the gas station. He then entered the business, handed the clerk a threatening note and demanded money, while continuing to verbally threaten the clerk.

The man then fled with an undetermined amount of cash, fleeing toward Trindle Road.

The man is believed to also be connected with two robberies that occurred in Cumberland County on Sunday, and another one that occurred earlier Monday morning in Silver Spring Township.

State Police did not release any further details of the robberies on Monday, but Silver Spring Township Police released surveillance photos and information about the robbery at Speedway at 7034 Carlisle Pike at 5:20 a.m.

Township police said the man entered the store and handed the clerk a note, demanding money. He then fled in a smaller silver SUV, turning south onto the Carlisle Pike toward Carlisle.

The suspect is described as having short-trimmed hair, clean shaven and appears to be balding, according to State Police. In the South Middleton robbery, he was wearing sunglasses, a gray T-shirt, green khaki shorts and black shoes.

Silver Spring Township Police asks that anyone with information contact them at 717-591-8240. State Police can be contacted at 717-249-2121.
