MOUNT HOLLY SPRINGS — Police believe a man already charged with raping two girls sexually assaulted at least three others.
Austin Kelley, 21, is already behind bars in Dauphin County on accusations he raped an 11-year-old girl and 13-year-old girl, whom he impregnated when he was 19.
ABC27 News said new charges were filed Monday in Cumberland County, including statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. Police have identified three more alleged victims, all under the age of 14.
According to court papers, Kelley met the girls at a Carlisle roller skating rink in August 2016. He asked them about their problems and promised to help them, and would then sexually assault them in their bedrooms after sneaking into their homes at night, police said.
Kelley also met his alleged victims in Dauphin County at skating rinks, and he would tell them he was infertile and couldn’t have children, court documents state.
When interviewed by police, Kelley said he was “helping” the girls.
Police said in one case, they discovered Kelley was writing one of his alleged victims from jail. In each letter, he drew a superhero and called himself “Superman.”
Investigators are looking for possible additional victims.
