Pennsylvania State Police said Friday they are investigating after two people who were found dead in a recreational vehicle at the Blue Mountain Travel Plaza last month.
Police identified the dead as Bruce and Sheliene Frenchak, ages 57 and 54, respectively, of Huntington Beach, California.
The Blue Mountain Travel Plaza is on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Hopewell Township, just north of Newburg.
The state police said in a new release that a trooper out of the Newville barracks had first observed the RV in the travel plaza parking lot on Oct. 21, and noticed that it was in the same place when the trooper returned on patrol the next day.

Police said the RV’s registration indicated the Frenchaks were reported as missing persons out of Tuolumne County, California.
By standing on the back bumper of the RV, the trooper could see a male lying face down, after which forced entry was made into the vehicle
Autopsies were conducted on both of the dead on Oct. 28, according to the state police, but “the cause and manner of death of both individuals are yet to be determined.”
Police are asking anyone who may have further information to contact the Carlisle barracks at 717-249-2121.
