A crash involving nine vehicles on Interstate 83 resulted in minor and moderate injuries to several drivers and passengers.

The crash occurred at 3:34 p.m. on Nov. 16 on I-83 near mile marker 42.6 in Harrisburg. Five vehicles were stopped as traffic came to a stop suddenly. Andrew Peters, 70, of Mechanicsburg was slowing as he approached the stopped traffic, but police say he was rear-ended by Melissa Seafross, 28, of Highspire.
