A Boiling Spring High School student was arrested and charged Thursday after police say he threatened to kill several students.

Around 3 p.m. Thursday, police were alerted that a 17-year-old male student, who has not been identified, made threats against South Middleton School District students, according to State Police at Carlisle.

Police said the student threatened to kill three students and said he was capable of making bombs.

He was arrested and charged with terroristic threats and is being detained by Cumberland County, according to police.

The juvenile student was not at Cumberland County Prison Friday morning and had not been brought to the prison, according to Cumberland County Prison Warden Earl Reitz.
