Lower Allen Township police arrested one person Thursday and have issued warrants for the arrest of three others in connection to a May incident in which they are accused of stealing items and trying to use credit cards that were among the stolen items.
Adam Elseworth Geesey, 30, of York was charged with theft from a motor vehicle, loitering and prowling at night and conspiracy to commit theft from a motor vehicle. He remains in Cumberland County Prison, unable to post $2,500 bail.
Geesey is one of four people police believe were involved in a string of thefts in May.
On May 4, items including a purse containing credit cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Fox Hollow Circle overnight. Later that day, unauthorized transactions were reported on the victim's credit card.

On May 6, multiple overnight thefts were reported in Hillcrest Court. Items like prescription pills, GPS units, money, gift cards and an EZ Pass transponder were stolen.
Fairview Township Police were dispatched to the Budget Inn for another theft investigation on May 8. A black Saturn was identified as a possible suspect vehicle in these cases. Police contacted the occupants of the room, and a search of the room and car led to the recovery of several items stolen from Lower Allen Township.
Video surveillance from the Walmart on the Carlisle Pike showed three people trying to use the stolen credit card to purchase thousands of dollars of electronics. Geesey was not among them at the time.
