A teenager wanted in an attempted homicide was located and taken into custody Sunday, State Police at Gettysburg reported.
Police said Octavian Perez, 16, was taken into custody in Virginia at about noon Sunday.
Perez was last seen Aug. 4 in Bonneauville Borough, Adams County, where he was initially thought to be a missing runaway. However, police said they determined Perez had caused severe bodily harm to a juvenile victim.
Perez faces charges of criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and indecent assault in adult court.
