Repairs to a water line leading into the Centenary Building will cause some disruption to traffic on South Pitt Street Friday in downtown Carlisle.

Building owner Kenn Tuckey said the repair will start after 9 a.m. to allow the morning rush to get through, and is expected to be finished by 4 p.m.

“It’s a minor repair, but it needs to be done,” Tuckey said.

The problem led to the closure of Issei Noodle, which posted on its Facebook page that it had no running water.

Tuckey said there was a leak in the basement, but the problem did not affect the whole building.

Issei Noodle’s neighbors, the Pie Haus and Georgie Lou’s Retro Candy, both posted to their respective Facebook pages that their utilities were functioning and they were open for business.
