Carlisle Regional Performing Arts Center is looking for a new executive director.
Esch McCombie, the theater’s board president, confirmed that Catie Morelle-Oliveira is no longer with the theater, but said the board appreciated what she did for the theater during her tenure without specifying why she left.
Morelle-Oliveira became the theater’s manager this spring after the retirement of Leslie Sterner.

The board posted an announcement of its search for an executive director on its Facebook page Saturday. The executive director will be responsible for developing and promoting the theater and its events and programming, according to the announcement.
The new director will step into a flurry of activity as the board recently approved “substantial” repairs and upgrades to the exterior of the building that will protect it for years to come, McCombie said in an email to The Sentinel.
“Thanks to our wonderful donors, sponsors, staff and volunteers, the theater is in a very strong place financially and in terms of programming,” he wrote.
