Donation explanation: For some of heavily attended events, Summerfair officials are asking for donations to help support the overall budget of Carlisle Summerfair. Organizers rely on sponsorships from area businesses, but as insurance costs, police and EMS costs, and other costs have gone up, they are having a hard time covering all expenses and ensuring that Summerfair continues into the future.
