The public is invited to attend a Rachel’s Challenge Parent/Community Night Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Boiling Springs High School.

During the one-hour presentation, local residents will hear the story of Rachel Joy Scott who was killed during the Columbine High School shooting on April 20, 1999.

Her story is part of an anti-bullying program being taught Tuesday in South Middleton School District. The goal of the program is to improve the school climate by expanding character education, bully prevention, suicide prevention and community engagement.
