Claus cause

With 15 area businesses participating over the last few months, Claus Cause raised a total of $5,111.81, which it presented to Project SHARE on Thursday, Dec. 20.

Claus Cause was an event created and organized by 717 Studios in Carlisle. A number of Carlisle area businesses participated in this year’s project, holding special events and raising donations.

Some of those businesses include Raudabaugh’s Barber Shop, North Hanover Grille, Cohick and Associates, The Back Door Cafe, Colucci & Company, Meadowbrooke Gourds, Cartridge World Carlisle, McDonalds of Carlisle, Pondview Trading Post, Welubhi, Rose Detailing, Shellie’s Comb and Clipper, Dyndes Inc., 5th Avenue Salon and Lil’ Ponderosa Beef.

The first Claus Cause in 2011 raised $2,500, and this year’s goal was to double that, which the businesses were able to do.
