Five Bowl for Kids’ Sake events are scheduled to take place throughout April, as part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region’s efforts to raise money to help mentor children.
Corporate teams are asked to sign up to participate in one of the five events that will take place at three locations.
The first two events will be at noon and 3 p.m. April 7 at ABC West in Silver Spring Township. Another event at ABC West will be held at noon on April 14.
Midway Bowl in South Middleton Township will be the location of a Bowl for Kids’ Sake at 6 p.m. April 12.
Palmyra Bowling will be the last location at 6:30 p.m. April 27.
“Bowl for Kids’ Sake is our largest and longest running annual fundraiser. Everyone who participates or donates becomes an advocate for positive role models for children in our communities,” said Maddie Young, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. “Our 2018 goal is to raise $150,000 to support these children, their mentors, their families and our communities.”
Participants can register online at capbigs.org/" target="_blank">capbigs.org to create their fundraising page and recruit four others to join the team. Each participant must raise a minimum of $80. Participants will get two games of bowling, pizza, drinks, T-shirt and raffled prizes.
