Hannah Wimer of Carlisle and Thomas Borgerding of Virginia Beach, Va., were married May 26 at Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle.
Hannah is the daughter of Dennis and Susan Wimer of Carlisle. She is a 2008 graduate of Carlisle High School. She attended James Madison University, Va., earning a degree in communications. Hannah is currently employed in the Information Systems Department at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Va.
Thomas is the son of Dennis and Olivia Borgerding of Virginia Beach, Va. He is a 2007 graduate of Ocean Lakes High School. He attended James Madison University, earning a degree in music education. Thomas is currently a teacher for the Logic School at Redeemer Classical School in Keezletown, Va. He is also a member of the Virginia Army National Guard Band.
The Rev. Tim Frost of Harrisonburg, Va., officiated the ceremony.
The matron of honor was Lauren McClain, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Chloe Rice, sister of the groom; Hannah Borgerding, sister of the groom; Megan Campbell, friend of the bride; and Caitlin Jones, friend of the bride.
The best man was James Smith, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Joseph Slater, pastor of the couple; David Hilton, friend of the groom; Dennis Borgerding, father of the groom; and Neal Fox, friend of the groom. Ushers were Joshua Otto, cousin of the bride, and Asher Davis.
Audrey Davis was the flower girl and Micah Davis was the ring bearer.
Andy Hoke of Carlisle played the organ and Brian and Angie Davis of Harrisonburg, Va., performed a duet. Scripture was read by Matthew McClain, brother-in-law of the bride, and Joseph Slater.
Jillian Otto, cousin of the bride, was the guest book attendant.
A reception was held at Jacob’s Resting Place, Carlisle.
The couple honeymooned to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
They now reside in Harrisonburg, Va.
