Please meet Riley. Riley is a large domestic short hair who was born around September 2008. He was a lonely kitten at the Humane Society Harrisburg Area when a family adopted him. However, when Riley grew older, he was deserted on the streets of Carlisle. For two years, he survived outdoors, starving and freezing. Having been declawed, he couldn’t protect himself, and when someone found him, he had an infection from being attacked and scratched by a feral cat.
Now Riley is with a foster mother — the person who found him in the alley in Carlisle. Riley is laid-back and low-maintenance. He loves to play and cuddle, but he’s happy keeping to himself. His disposition is sweet and is extremely well-behaved when getting shots from the vet.
Riley would be perfect for anyone from babies to adults, though he is scared of other dogs and cats at first glance. He prefers being an indoor-only cat. He requires a little bit of medication to control his asthma.
This kitty has had his initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea/tick preventative, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered.
