December 13, 2012: Borough Council approves a contract with Stromberg/Garrigan & Associates to undertake the Carlisle Urban Redevelopment Plan

October 3, 2013: Borough Council accepts the Carlisle Urban Redevelopment Plan

April 2013 - The Redevelopment Authority of Cumberland County (RACC) receives a $200,000 EPA Areawide Grant to further refine the Carlisle Urban Redevelopment Plan.

August 2013 - RACC approves a contract with Stromberg/Garrigan & Associates to undertake the EPA Areawide Planning Process

October 28, 2014: Carlisle is awarded a $1.5 million dollar PennDOT Multimodal grant to implement transportation improvements for the CURP

May 28, 2015: Carlisle is awarded a $400,000 EPA Assessment Grant to assess land necessary to implement the CURP

July 2015: RACC is awarded $95,000 to begin the design of the Carlisle Urban Linear Stormwater Park. This park is essential for development to occur at the IAC site and will provide recreational amenity to residents.
