WILLIAM W. KLINE

Eighteen (18) letters written by William W. Kline while
serving in the Union Army from March 1864 until his
death in a Confederate Prison in November 1864. The
letters were written to his wife, Sarah Dougherty Kline,
who lived in Shepherdstown, Cumberland County, PA.
The letters were lost between 1985 and 2001 in Carlisle
or the surrounding area in Cumberland County. Family
members are trying to locate the letters and may be
