The Harrisburg Senators will continue to be the Double-A minor league affiliate of the Washington Nationals through 2020, according to a press release by the organizations on Monday.
The 2018 season will be the 14th the two teams have been partners since the Nationals moved to Washington. It's 28 years together dating back to 1991 when the MLB squad was the Montreal Expos.
The Senators also announced this week that they are looking for a public address announcer and on-field host. For more information, go to senatorsbaseball.com. Applications can be emailed to Scott Ciaccia at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Senators' season-opener is April 5 at the Bowie Baysox; the home opener is April 13 against Bowie.
