TRENTON, N.J. — Brian Keller allowed just two hits over 5.2 innings, leading the Trenton Thunder over the Harrisburg Senators in a 1-0 win on Tuesday.
Jordan Foley got Osvaldo Abreu to fly out with a runner on first to end the game for his second save of the season.
Keller (1-2) struck out six and walked one to get the win.
The game's only run was scored in the bottom of the third inning. After reaching base on a walk, Chace Numata advanced to third on a single by Gosuke Katoh and then scored on an out.
Jaron Long (0-1) went five innings, allowing one run and four hits in the Eastern League game. He also struck out three and walked one.
The Senators were held scoreless for the second time this season, while the Thunder's staff recorded their second shutout of the year.
