READING — Jose Marmolejos drove in Victor Robles with a sacrifice fly in the first inning, leading the Harrisburg Senators to a 4-2 win over the Reading Fightin Phils on Saturday.
Andrew Robinson allowed a run, but got Derek Campbell to hit into a forceout with a runner on first to end the game for his 12th save of the season.
Robles scored on the sacrifice fly in the first to give the Senators a 1-0 lead after he reached base on a walk and advanced to third on a single by Corban Joseph.
With the score tied 1-1 in the fourth, the Senators took the lead for good when Dan Gamache hit an RBI double, bringing home Marmolejos.
Reading saw its comeback attempt come up short after Christian Marrero hit a solo home run in the ninth inning to cut the Harrisburg lead to 4-2.
Harrisburg right-hander Greg Ross (5-3) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing one run on eight hits over six innings. Opposing starter Franklyn Kilome (1-2) took the loss in the Eastern League game after allowing three runs and four hits over six innings.
For the Fightin Phils, Marrero homered and singled twice.
