Shippensburg baseball got a walk-off single in the 10th inning from Tommy Baggett to cap off a comeback, as the Raiders rallied from a seven-run deficit to defeat Shepherd 12-11. Jack Goertzen led the way with a 4-for-5 afternoon with a double, one RBI, two runs scored and walk, while Nick Spangler and Dalton Hoiles each finished with three hits on the day.
Kaylin Gallagher won her debut at No. 1 singles in the home finale for Shippensburg women’s tennis where Shippensburg dropped its dual meet to Shepherd 6-3. At No. 1 doubles, Gallagher and Daisy Rundio came up just short in an 8-6 setback, while Victoria Galanti and Megan Moorhead combined to win two games at No. 2 doubles.
