Shippensburg senior Dustin Sleva’s 34-point performance against Lock Haven earned him PSAC Eastern Division Co-Athlete of the Week. He had 14 rebounds in the win, his 46th career double-double, then had 14 points against Cheyney.
Dickinson senior Kassidy Lesher was named the Centennial Conference Co-Player of the Week after she led her team to two wins and averaged a double-double in all three games last week. She averaged 19.3 points and 15.7 rebounds in a busy week.
Messiah men’s basketball sophomore Colin Sarayka was named MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week after he recorded a four-point play in the final seconds of a 101-100 triple-overtime win Saturday against Albright. He drained a 3-pointer near the buzzer, was fouled and made the free through. Sarayka averaged 23.5 points, five assists and five steals last week.
Northern grad Kyle Koser was again named MAC Wrestler of the Week after going 4-0 at the Budd Whitehill Duals. It’s the No. 4-ranked wrestler’s (197 pounds) third weekly honor this season. He is currently at 138 career wins.
West Perry grad Megan Smith was named the PSAC Western Division Co-Athlete of the Week after leading Indiana University of Pennsylvania to a 3-0 week. She averaged 19.7 points and 6.0 erbounds per game.
