Dickinson women's soccer continues to win under first-year head coach Ted Zingman. The Red Devils blanked Shenandoah 4-0 Wednesday at Miller Memorial Field, using four goals from four sources to improve to 6-0 overall. Olivia Termini's header off a corner in the 14th minute gave them a lead they would keep. Addy Zandi and Alexandra Goldrich scored in the second half, sandwiching an own goal. Mary Katherine Brosnan posted six saves in net for her fifth shutout of the season.
Messiah women's soccer also posted a shutout, beating DeSales 3-0. True freshman Maddie Waits (Northern) scored the first two goals of her career for the No. 14 Falcons (2-1-2) after teammate Ellie Lengacher gave her team a 1-0 halftime lead. Another freshman from Northern, Abby Monko, delivered a pair of assists on the goals by her former and current teammate, Waits.
In men's soccer, No. 16 Messiah controlled Dickinson 4-0 behind goals from Colby Thomas, Brit Haseltine, Kirby Robbins and Nick West.
Messiah field hockey, ranked No. 1 nationally, cruised past Juniata 7-0. Sloane Adams scored back-to-back goals late in the first half for the Falcons (4-0), who also picked up goals from Carissa Gehman, Taylor Wiederrecht, Kristin Donohue, Logan Ryan and Kaylor Rosenberry.
