  • Penn State men's golf won its fourth straight Rutherford Intercollegiate championship Sunday, led in part by junior J.D. Hughes, a Carlisle grad. Hughes shot a 1-under 70 on the final day, leading all golfers Sunday and finishing at 2-under (third) for the tourney. Teammate Cole Miller won the individual title with a 7-under. PSU was a cumulative 8-under in three rounds.
  • Shippensburg wrestlers David Reagan (junior) and Cole Rush (sophomore) were named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division II All-Academic Team on Friday. Athletes must have a 3.2 GPA or better to be nominated, or have a 3.0 if they make the national championships.
  • Messiah center fielder Dan Wiederrecht was named the MAC Commonwealth Baseball Player of the Week after batting .500 with two home runs, 14 RBIs, eight runs scored and three stolen bases during the Falcons' five games.
  • Messiah outfielder Haylee Anders was also named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week in softball after she hit .714 with three RBIs and four runs scored in four games. She was a perfect 7-for-7 against Stevenson in a doubleheader.
