Cumberland Valley picked up sweeps Thursday in a tri-meet with Trinity and East Pennsboro. Jack Dengler led the boys to wins in the 200 free (1:56.15), 50 free (23.43), 200 medley relay (1:43.44) and 400 free relay (3:33.42). It helped boys win 289-134-56, with Trinity beating East Pennsboro for second. Sarah Wyant picked up a 200 free win (2:00.67) as the Shamrocks girls also split their matchups in a 294-145-74 overall score. Kayla Barone led the Eagles girls, though, with wins in the 50 free (24.53), 100 free (53.05) and 200 free relay (1:45.64). Liz Jackson also picked up a pair of solo wins (100 fly, 100 back) and helped in the 200 medley and 400 free relay wins for CV.
Mechanicsburg split its dual meet with Central Dauphin, the girls winning 86-84 and the boys losing 98-72. Lauren Labell picked up wins in the 200 IM (2:30.32) and the 100 breast (1:17.22) for the girls. Jimmy Kargiannis got wins in the 50 free (22.90) and 100 free (51.14) for the boys, also helping in the 200 free relay win (1:39.32) and the 400 free relay (3:41.62).
Northern swept James Buchanan 115-65 (girls) and 112-55 (boys). Kate Luft added a few more wins to her ledger, claiming the 100 fly (1:02.98) and 100 back (1:00.77). She also helped in the 400 free relay win (3:53.58).
