"Slippery Rock just felt like the perfect fit for me with the team and academics," Celesky said through Twitter DM on Saturday. "I was very excited to make this decision and to know that everything I’ve worked towards in my lacrosse career with the help of my family, teammates and coaches paid off and I finally have the opportunity to play lacrosse at the next level."
The junior defender racked up seven goals, 10 assists and 17 points with the Eagles last season.
SRU, coached by Kelsey Van Alstyne, is currently 1-0 on the season. Last season the team went 12-6 and 7-5 in the PSAC, making it all the way to the PSAC Tournament and losing in the first game to IUP.
