Boiling Springs Asia Whittenberger In My Words

Coach Brookens wanted to go birding this Sunday in Atlantic City to find one specific bird, but sadly his trip got rained out. One day he will find that Common Greenshank.

This week was another slow one for us. Our team was antsy waiting for our next game. Practicing got old. Game day on Saturday was too exciting. It was full of team texts and yelling in the locker room. We just wanted to win. Well, we did that. 5-0. It was a slow one at first, but as we got the hang of it, the goals just kept coming. Maddie Hughes got her 200th point! I’m a proud team mom. I grabbed the ball she scored to get her 200th point with (actually, 201st, but 200th is more visually appealing) and of course there was no Sharpie on the sideline for all of us to sign it with.

I found some old, dying pen in B’s bag to sign with. It worked out great. Everyone wanted their own hexagon to sign in which was really annoying because I just wanted to hand it to her. Go Haddie Mughes!

Onto the next game. Tuesday. 5:30. Lower Dauphin. Be there. As B would say...hey diddle diddle.

See you next week, friends.
