Notes: Altoona had first-round bye in districts, beating State College 54-42 in the championship game. Riding a four game win streak with average margin of 24.8 points.

Top players: For the Mountain Lions: Small lineup led by 5-foot-9 senior Amber Newberry (10.3 ppg, 10 points vs. SC) and 5-8 classmate Paige Whitfield (9.9, 12 points vs. SC)... Three senior starters and another off the bench (center Alayna Biesecker, 7.2 ppg)... Newberry will head to Lock Haven, Biesecker to Mansfield and 5-11 forward Madison Shetrom (7.9 ppg) to LeMoyne next year... For the Colts: Rachael Reilly (8.4 ppg, 24 3-pointers) held scoreless by J.P. McCaskey in fifth-place game. Emily Esser (5.3 ppg) leads with 31 treys, and sophomore point guard Ashley Hoagland (5.7) has 22 treys for team that has 113 total and shoots 61 percent from the free-throw line.
