Barely 15 hours after edging Shippensburg in a crucial division game, Boiling Springs hit the road early Saturday for the Mid-Penn/York-Adams Showcase in Gettysburg and handed it to South Western 56-37. The Bubblers got a game-high 20 from leading scorer Dylan LaNoue, who also dished out four assists. Grayson Hacker finished with 19 points and seven boards, with Zack VonStein adding five and seven in the victory.
In a later game in the showcase, Mechanicsburg dropped a 64-53 decision to Spring Grove, getting 13 points from Tyler Gelnett, 12 from Ty Deiter and 11 from Caleb Everett. The Wildcats trailed by one at half, but couldn't match the Rockets' second-half pace.
West Shore beat Mount Calvary Christian 71-50 behind 21 points from Trevor Rockey and 20 from Pascal Verna.
