The Pelicans host the San Antonio Spurs at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Smoothie King Center. Here are three things to know:

1) FREE BIRDS

The New Orleans Pelicans won by seven points Monday against the star-studded Oklahoma City Thunder. Pelicans star forward Anthony Davis posted an 18 of 22 clip from the free-throw line, franchise records for makes and attempts. The Thunder, as a team, made 20 free throws on Monday.

2) MILESTONE MARKER

With 7,909 career points entering Wednesday's game, Davis is 27 points shy of tying Chris Paul's 7,936 points for second place on the franchise's all-time scoring list. David West, the franchise's leader in minutes and games played, is No. 1 in club history with 8,690.

3) SHARP SHOOTING

The Pelicans completed their seventh consecutive game shooting 50 percent from the floor or better Monday, a franchise record. New Orleans hasn't finished a game below .500 in field-goal percentage since Nov. 4 at Chicago. The Pelicans are averaging 52.4 shooting from the floor in the seven-game stretch.
