SHIPPENSBURG — The disability studies minor at Shippensburg University will present “FIXED: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement” from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 7, in Orndorff Theatre in the Ceddia Union Building. It is free and open to the public.

The film takes a close look at the drive to be “better than human” and the radical technological innovations that may take us there. Those innovations range from bionic limbs and neural implants to prenatal screening. The film is co-sponsored by the disability studies minor program, and the departments of biology, chemistry, psychology and sociology.
