Dear Editor:

As I write my annual letter to the editor, I am so grateful to all of the local shoppers that make our Be a Santa to a Senior program so successful.

The Mechanicsburg office of Home Instead Senior Care would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who continues to make this program such as success. Each year we count our blessings to be part of such a warm and supportive community.

This year we collected over 2,000 gifts for local seniors who look forward to this program. This program would not be as successful without all of our community partners.

Our special thanks goes to Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Bethany Village, The Woods at Cedar Run, and Traditions of America at Silver Springs, all of which hosted wrapping parties and provided space for our trees. AMVETS Post 274 continues to be a generous financial supporter of this program. St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg provides us with much needed space to sort and organize these gifts.

Additional community partners that provided space for our trees to be displayed are Boscov's, Kmart locations in Carlisle and Enola, Belco Community Credit Union, Drayer Physical Therapy, Dauphin County Secret Santa Squad, The Bridges at Bent Creek and Cumberland Crossings.

Thank you to all of the shoppers out there making the Holidays brighter for our local seniors!
