On Friday, Jan. 19, I joined thousands of others in Washington D.C. for the 45th annual March for Life. This wasn’t the march that the media publicizes with women wearing questionable hats and costumes, shouting vulgarities. This was a peaceful march through the national mall to the steps of the Supreme Court in support of the rights of the unborn.
This was my first time attending the March for Life and I was proud to join Scott Wagner’s Pro-Life Coalition for the 45th annual March.
Sen.Scott Wagner was a co-sponsor of SB3 to ban abortion after 20 weeks and ban dismemberment abortion. Fifteen other states have already revised their laws to reduce the maximum gestational age of abortion from 24 to 20 weeks because of the advances of medical technology and viability of a baby.
This legislation would have also banned dismemberment abortion, the act of tearing apart a baby by its limbs. Scott has also supported legislation that would make sure that taxpayer money is not being used to fund abortion.
In 2018, we will have the opportunity to elect a new governor in Pennsylvania. I proudly stand with Scott Wagner and the right to life.
