In The Sentinel's Aug. 30 and 31, 2017, editions, I read in the Lost & Found column an item that brought joy to my heart. It was not the content, but the thought that the writer took time to write and the money to publish the article.
It concerned a cat that the writer found dead in their garage and gave an address where the body could be picked up. As an animal lover and past pet owner, I felt so happy that the deceased cat's owner would know what happened to the beloved pet and where to retrieve its body to give it a proper burial.
Thank you for the "Finder" and the "Notifier." You give an example of a caring and living human being which the world truly needs today.
