I will start this letter by stating that I have lived in this blessed country for 91 years. Born and raised in Chester County in June 1926. Married in 1949 and moved with our family to Cumberland County in 1957.
During my growing up years and my adult years, I saw many wars. The first president I remember is Franklin Delano Roosevelt. After him came World War II and as the years passed; the Cuban Missile Crisis, Korean Conflict, and then Vietnam. I had three cousins serve in World War II; a brother-in-law in Korea; and a son-in-law in the navy during Vietnam.
Now again I have family serving - a grandson getting ready for his ongoing deployments with a wife and baby daughter waiting for his return and a granddaughter who also serves.
I am ashamed of the people who are so ignorant and have no compassion or respect for all who serve, for all who gave their lives and for those who serve here at home with the Wounded Warrior Project.
Please join me in prayer for all who serve; also for all the families whose loved ones are in Heaven; and everyone working for the Wounder Warrior Project. God Bless America. We know who made her great and still does. Thank you God for all our blessings
