Services for Glenn O. Kauffman, 72, of RD1 New
Bloomfield, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral
Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland.
He died Sunday, June 22, 1997 in his home.
Born May 14, 1925 in Yocumtown, he was a son of the late Chester E.
and Cora Anderson Kauffman.
Mr. Kauffman was a retired body technician for the former
Sunderland Chevrolet of Lemoyne.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of
Lewisberry, and a life member of Newberry Fire Company, 63rd
Division Association of World War II Veterans and VFW Post 537 of
Surviving are his wife, Anna P. Rhodes Kauffman; a son, Craig E. of
New Bloomfield; a daughter, Judy A. Reeser of New Bloomfield; two
brothers, Melvin of York Haven and Marlin of Newberrytown; two
sisters, Viola Snelbaker of York and Evelyn Shaulis of Lewisberry;
five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Timothy L. Hoffman, his pastor, will officiate at
Wednesday's service. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and from 10 to 11 a.m.
Wednesday at the funeral home.

Esther V. Lippert, 72, of 27 Garden Parkway,
South Middleton Township, died Monday, June 23, 1997, in her
Born Dec. 9, 1924 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Ray
and Elsie Chamberlain Shugart and the widow of George W. Lippert,
who died April 24, 1994.
Mrs. Lippert retired in 1993 from Cumberland County Nursing Home
after 18 years of service. She also had worked at Troy Laundry in

Harrison and Bessie Yeager Shelley.

Zeigler of Evergreen, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
The Rev. J. Kenneth Barner officiated at today's service. Burial
was in Young's Cemetery, Shermans Dale.
