- Dorothy R. Welsh Fitz, 84, of 2721 Banks St.,
Harrisburg, formerly of Hummelstown, died Friday, June 20, 1997 in
Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Irene Loman Welsh. She was the widow of Harvey Cyrus Fitz Jr., who died Nov. 22, 1994.
A graduate of York High School, Mrs. Fitz was formerly employed as an aeronautic engineer at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown.
She was a member of Paxton Church of the Brethren, Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, and New Covenant Fellowship of Mechanicsburg.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia A. Davis of Franklin, N.C., Dorothy R. Bangert of Paxtang and Deborah S. Grenoble of Penbrook; one son, Harvey C. III of Harrisburg; two sisters, Isabelle Welsh of Duncannon and Mary Welsh of Carlisle; two brothers, Lewis and Leroy Welsh, both of Carlisle; one half-sister, Nancy Varner of Carlisle; two half-brothers, Ronald and Robert Welsh, both of Carlisle; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Susan Fitz, and a son, Donald Eugene Fitz.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Paxton Church of the Brethren, 6445 Lyters Lane, Lower Paxton Township, with the Revs. H. Elmer Brubaker and Bruce C. Mawhinney officiating.
Burial will be in Paxton Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Lewisberry Road, New Cumberland, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday
in Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland.
He died Thursday, June 19, 1997 at home.
Born April 19, 1980 in East Pennsboro Township, he was a son of John E. Sr. and Kathy Myers Bull.
He was entering his senior year at Red Land High School, where he was a member of the football team and was active in the Technology Student Association.
He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 284 of Lewisberry.
In addition to his parents, surviving are two brothers, James N. and John E. Jr., both at home; his grandparents, Larry E. and Joan K. Myers of Dillsburg and George D. and Josephine L. Bull Sr. of Carlisle; his great-grandmother, Helen Hewitt of Dillsburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Rev. Dawn Spangler, associate pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, New Cumberland, will officiate at Monday's service.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Township.

- Barbara E. Nissley Hammaker, 99, of 9 S.
George St., Mechanics- burg, died Friday, June 20, 1997 at home.
Born Aug. 20, 1897 in Rutherford, Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Erb Nissley. She was the widow of J. Edwin Hammaker.
Mrs. Hammaker was a home- maker and a member of Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church.
Surviving are five sons, Roy J., Elmer C. and Alvin E. of Mechanicsburg, Lawrence W. of Elizabethtown and Carl W. of Fullerton, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Verna Lanker.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in her church, 1050 S. York St., Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Kenneth Hepner officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

- Eva E. Higinbotham, 96, of Upper Allen
Township, died Friday, June 20, 1997 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born Sept. 3, 1900 in Romney, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Bertie Wright Everett. She was the widow of Claude Higinbotham.
Surviving are a sister, Beatrice Keister of Bladensburg, Md.; a grandson, Dr. Anthony S. Bagdonis of Atlanta, Ga.; and two granddaughters, Cynthia Rudisill of Lykens and Donna Mangum of South Haven, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eva Lee Bagdonis.
