What is the development going in across the street from the Dickinson Township Municipal Building?
Construction happening on Barnitz Woods Drive, across from the Dickinson Township Municipal Building, is phase one of a largely build-to-suit development, according Dickinson Township Manager Larry Barrick.
The residential project, dubbed “The Woods at Barnitz,” has been in the planning phases and under development for several years.
Barrick said phase one includes the construction of up to 30 residential homes.
He said roughly 89 subdivision lots were included in the project, but not all of those lots will be developed.
Developers William Diehl and Donald Group “envisioned a distinctive wooded community with a majestic entrance,” according to website set up for the Woods at Barnitz development.
“The lay-out follows the contours of the land while emphasizing the natural beauty of the treescape and surrounding mountain,” the website reads.
Parcels range from 1 to 4 acres, use public water but require on-lot septic and begin at $85,000, according to the website.
