Poet, writer and editor Maya Stein will stop at Bosler Memorial Library Thursday evening during a special cycling journey she is taking with a typewriter, according to a release from the library.
Stein is celebrating her 40th birthday with a 40-day cycling trip that will eventually take her to Milwaukee, the birthplace of the typewriter. On the trip, she’ll be towing a typewriter with the hope to set up a “mobile typing booth,” where members of the community can contribute to a collaborative piece of writing.
Stein will stop at Bosler Memorial Library for a program from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
