Life Lion donation

John Ulsh, center, who was severly injured in a crash 3 years ago and credits the crew of Life Lion with saving his life, presents a check in the amount of $1,600 to to Rick Jones, pilot, left; Amanda Rosito, flight papramedic, center; and Beth Cate, RN, flight nurse, on Wednesday morning at the helicopter hangar on Petersburg Road. Ulsh used the money he collected from a surprise birthday party and donated the check.

John Ulsh, who was severely injured in a head-on crash in Franklin County 3 years ago, credits the crew of Life Lion with saving his life.

Having received money from a surprise birthday party, Ulsh made a $1,600 donation Wednesday morning. He presented the check to pilot Rick Jones, flight paramedic Amanda Rosito and flight nurse Beth Cate at the helicopter hanger at Carlisle Airport.
