The National Weather Service is calling for wind gusts up to 40 mph through 8 p.m. for Cumberland County.
NWS said strong winds could lead to power outages in some areas. Winds are expected up to 21 mph for the afternoon with temperatures expected to reach 51 degrees.
Tonight's forecast calls for a low of 31 degrees and winds diminishing down to 10-20 mph.
