Carlisle played a role for last night's Song of the Year winner at the Grammy awards.

On Oct. 22, 2011, .fun and Janelle Monae recorded the acoustic version of “We Are Young,” which won Song of the Year during Sunday night's Grammy awards.

In other Grammy news, former York County residents Lzzy and Arejay Hale, along with their band Halestorm won a Grammy for a Hard Rock/Metal performance for the song "Love Bites (So Do I)."

Halestorm performed around the area, including a performance as main attraction for the Millennium Music Conference in 2011. This year's MMC will take place this weekend in Harrisburg, and you can read about Lzzy and Arejay Hale's journey to the big league here.
