PennDOT reports that as of 2:38 p.m., all lanes of Interstate 81 north are closed after a crash in the express lane between Exit 65 in East Pennsboro Township and the Susquehanna River.

A detour is in effect for the area.

Early reports say that a tractor-trailer overturned in the express lane. PennDOT says it is a multiple-vehicle crash.

Emergency crews are also responding to other crashes on I-81 in the Silver Spring Township/East Pennsboro Township areas.

Emergency crews have been called to the scene of a crash on Interstate 81 north near Exit 65 at 2 p.m.

PennDOT traffic cameras show a tractor-trailer overturned over a barrier near the express lanes on the highway. PennDOT says there is a lane restriction.

    The wreck is in a closed off lane where no traffic should be, which is adjacent to the oncoming express lane.
