A Shermans Dale man has been charged with aggravated assault after police say he stabbed another man during an incident around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Pisgah State Road in Carroll Township, Perry County.

State Police at Newport say that Jesse Ryan Aquallo, 23, used a knife to stab Dwayne Eugene Deihl, 28, of Shermans Dale, who was treated at Holy Spirit Hospital for his wounds.

Aquallo was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Barbara Lyter on charges that also include simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, police say. He was remanded to Perry County Prison on $25,000 bail.
