Meet Shyla and Jennifer.

Shyla is an adult Labrador retriever who has been with the Furry Friends Network since 2016. She has the sweet, gentle nature of a lab, and her favorite thing is getting belly rubs. She is 9 years old but still active—needing a 3- to 5-mile walk a day. She would make for a great hiking buddy.

Shyla can be shy at first but she loves everyone, including dogs and children. She has not yet met any cats, but is house broken and loves to run in a fenced area with other dogs. She’s a sweet girl, but doesn’t like a crate.

She would do well in a home where someone is there most of the time. She would also like to live with another dog.

Jennifer is a young calico cat who was found as a stray on a cold night in November, pawing at the door to get in. She is extremely friendly, though she doesn’t seem comfortable with the dogs and other cats in her foster home.

This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered or will be to be ready for adoption then.

If you can offer Shyla and Jennifer a forever home, please visit the Furry Friends website at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and complete an application today. Foster homes are needed in order to help more animals like Shyla and Jennifer.
