Meet Penny and Chloe.
Penny is a Bluetick Coonhound who is a little more than 2 years old and is on the small side at about 45 pounds. She has a friendly, outgoing personality, and her spirit is always happy.
She is quite unique, with one brown eye and one blue eye, making her easy to identify. She is active and full of fun, loving to run and play. She is friendly with other dogs and learns very quickly.
She is housebroken and crate trained. Someone who is familiar with coonhounds would work out well. Another dog in the house would also be welcome since Penny enjoys her canine companions. She’ll need a home where she will not be left alone for more than six hours a day.
Chloe was born around December 2016 and was found as a stray in Carlisle in December. She had found herself outside after her owner was unable to keep her.
She is currently living with multiple other cats, kittens and dogs. While she is doing OK, it’s clear she would prefer a less active home.
She would be fine as the only cat or sharing her home with one cat or a low-key dog.
This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered or will be to be ready for adoption then.
