Meet Marlow and Albert.
Marlow is a white Maltese mix who is 2 years old and about 15 pounds. He gets along great with people and he loves meeting other dogs, too.
He is friendly, great on a leash, happy to sleep in a crate, is not a picky eater and loves to be cuddled. He can be clingy and would like to live with someone who won’t leave him alone for long periods of time. He is also not fond of young children who pull on his tail or take his toys, but he’s otherwise fine with children.
He is still working on house training and differentiating dog toys from socks.
Albert is one of three cats who were rescued by a Furry Friends volunteer after they were put on a yard sale site by someone who was evicted. The three have been with Furry Friends since Dec. 30.
Albert is a 23-pound Manx and is grossly overweight. He is working on shedding some pounds, but is otherwise a lovely cat who has lived peacefully with his two “sisters” though they don’t interact much. He is very much a lap cat.
This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered or will be to be ready for adoption then.
If you can offer Marlow and Albert a forever home, please visit the Furry Friends website at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and complete an application today. Foster homes are needed in order to help more animals like Marlow and Albert.
